looking for a cool group of people devoted to DIY--I want to live more and more from my own endeavors: gardening to produce food, repairing clothing and eventually sewing/knitting clothing to wear. Reduce dependence on consumer society or something to that effect. Basically, when it all goes down, I want to have some survival skills cached away. Wed, July 18, 2007 - 4:37 PMThere's a simplicity group that meets once a week/month (not sure which) at the Berkeley clairmont library. I think Wednesday evenings. Call the branch and ask, if you can't find someone here.
