looking for a cool group of people devoted to DIY--I want to live more and more from my own endeavors: gardening to produce food, repairing clothing and eventually sewing/knitting clothing to wear. Reduce dependence on consumer society or something to that effect. Basically, when it all goes down, I want to have some survival skills cached away. If you're interested in discussing these topics or meeting or something, hit me with a reply or whatever works on this network.</summary>
